  4. This blog will be good . Lets use it for the better . I have only worked at wallkill for a short time and So far i see a future here . The union shows strength yet doesnt go over board allowing management to run the plant as they should , just to keep us in business . Alot of members here have been here for 30 years or more and the chief steward with 30 years himself , seems to know what is acceptable and what isnt . I have talked with Tony Russo a few times and he has always guided me in the right direction , even when i was on probation , he helped me to do the right things to survive . Thank you Tony . The stewards in wallkill all seem to inform tony of all activity in the plant and i think thats what makes it work . I enjoy it here so far . Thank You everyone .

  5. I don't know about the 2002 ot agreement, but I am disenchanted with the 2/1/2010 contract.
All said and done, I will loose money by the end of the contract. If this was the best contract we could negotiate when Ball is boasting its best performance ever, then what kind of contract can we expect when Ball isn't doing so good. Seems the retirees made out.....Thanks again Larry

  6. Hey everyone , Its me Tony Roussos , I made it on the blog for once . Good job Gil , it looks like you got it right this time .
The reason i decided to come on tonight is because of the statement written on Jan 23rd 2011 , submitted by of course an Anonymous player . #1 - The negotiating team worked there ass's off getting the contract we did . For the one that is so called " DISENCHANTED " with the contract , you should of voted NO . But you didnt , the results prooved it . In defense for Larry , he had nothing to do with the retirees agreement , It was the negotiating team that did it and in my opinion " a job well done " SAYING THIS : Please lets not use this BLOG for crap like this . Airing dirty laundry in front of countless readers is stupid . I have prooven to everyone during the past 20 months that i care about each and everyone of our members at Wallkill . Respect towards each other is a necessity ! Lashing out on a Blog is not the way to handle disagreements , and in my opinion , if you insist on this behavoir , man-up and submit your real name so you and i can sit down and discuss your concerns . We have accomplished alot in a short period of time , lets not blow it now . In addition , I would like to congradulate Joe Dembeck and Stanley Hudec during their recent retirement . WOW 38 years of service , Many in our plant arent even that old yet . Ha Ha . We will really miss you guys . I want to thank everyone for the collection you people did , the big cakes we supplied and thanks to kevin ( Plant Manager ) for offering to buy the pizza's , it was a great send off . GOOD LUCK ! TONY ROUSSOS
